Sr. Creative Copywriter

-Develop creative, compelling, legally compliant copy for all Private Brands.
-Must have a proven ability to gather information, analyze subject and audience, produce clear documentation, and conduct any research necessary to produce accurate, comprehensive documents.
-Requires strategic planning, development, writing, editing and maintenance of all content relevant to assigned categories.
-Will assist in composition of content for brand guidelines and will compose project copy that adhere to these guidelines.
-Must ensure brand integrity, quality, consistency and accuracy in a variety of communication forms, both internal and external.

Requirements:
- Creative writing experience: 5+ years
- Creative and strategic thinking is a must.
- Samples are required

Responsibilities:
- Write clear, concise, brand-compliant copy for product packaging, catalog ads, signage, brochures and other forms of advertising.
- Help define the right tone and voice for specific communications, channels and customer groups.
- Collaborate with designers to develop unique, new concepts.
- Work with project managers, merchants and internal clients to effectively satisfy the needs and schedules of all parties.
- Research competitors and keep abreast of relevant market trends.
- Oversee projects from conception through production to completion.
- Maintain high standards for writing, editing and proofreading.
- Work within tight deadlines.
- Perform other duties as assigned/required.
- Prefer experience with Mac and PC
- Excellent researching, copywriting and proofreading skills
- Passion for marketing products and experience in packaging–based copy.
- Ability to conceptualize and collaborate.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines
