Sr Corporate Communication Manager (Internal & External

Our client is looking for a Communication Manager with 10+yes experience. The ideal talent will be responsible for but not limited to:

• The Communications Manager will be responsible for leading a wide range of communications work that include consultation, planning, and issues management.

• Reporting to the Director of Brand Communications, the communications manager will design, deploy and manage communications programs that deliver measurable results for the organization.

• The communications manager will demonstrate proven success as a professional communications generalist with domain expertise.

• Will have direct reports and/or supervise outside vendors and serve as backup to director or other leader.

• From time-to-time will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating a critical strategic area for the region, communications and issues management.
Will participate in the development of department goals and objectives.

• Develop and implement communications plans and tactics to fulfill the strategic and operational goals and objectives of the overall communication program as developed by the Brand Communications & Public Relations department leadership in order to support the client’s objectives and deliver, promote and protect the organization’s brand and reputation.

• Bring thorough understanding of company integrated delivery model, organizational structure, mission, and complex communications organization to bear in support of key strategic initiatives and leadership clients.

• Manage and complete multiple assignments in agreed time frames and coordinate diverse projects and activities into a cohesive and strategic program.

• Consulting activity will vary from verbal communications or advice on communications issues to providing written customized communications plans.

• Lead project teams comprised of communications consultants and coordinators for the purpose of implementing specific communications projects, events, programs and issues management.

• Provide communications consulting to senior level (VP or above) executives on internal and external communications and emerging reputational issues.

• Strategize with internal client/stakeholder, write communication plans and creative briefs, research and analyze information, write articles, prepare presentations (PowerPoint presentations, speeches and talking points), plan logistics, and manage overall coordination.

• Keep up with new trends in communications technology, including new and social media and other web-based platforms.

• Communicate clearly across the communications team expectations, accountabilities and project instructions.

• Plan, develop, and implement production schedules and coordinate deadlines with writers, designers, and print production coordinator.

• Coordinate the workflow of projects between department staff.

• Provide mentoring to staff and communication consultants, including guidance and training in project management and effective client interaction.

• Groom communications consultants to become more effective members of the Communications department.

• Train and mentor staff to provide effective back-up support through cross-training in specific tasks.

• Provides professional/technical guidance to other team members.

• Influence and encourage others to around new concepts and methodology.

Bachelor's degree in Journalism, English, Public Relations or related field or equivalent education and work experience.

Preferred Education -Master's degree in related field
