We are seeking a dynamic, seasoned copywriter for our client's Web Content Production department on a contract basis. We are looking for a motivated self-starter who: writes in a conversational style, can develop a content strategy and plays well in a collaborative team.
Write compelling, business-focused copy for articles, blogs and web pages on short timelines. Experience creating "Help" and "About Us" page content, industry portal pages, and other supported pages for on brand communication.
Work with/without designers to create finished, polished Marketing copy in Microsoft Word.
Manage your own projects from kickoff to completion, re-align priorities as new projects come in and meet deadlines all while maintaining impeccable attention to detail.
Participate in Marketing brainstorming sessions on a wide variety of topics, including: blog concepts, uncommon ad campaigns, web user experience and technology development while keeping a clear vision for how copy can address related communications goals.
Perform random Marketing duties zealously as assigned.
Minimum 3 years of experience writing and editing copy in B2B communications required.
MUST HAVE Bachelor’s degree in English, communications, journalism, marketing or related field.
Experience writing for technology environments, products, solutions or related.
Mastery of the English language, firm grasp of grammar and punctuation rules and ability to adapt to house style.
Portfolio of relevant writing samples that demonstrate a clear, conversational writing style that is both persuasive and entertaining.
Great attitude and ability to produce against tight deadlines.
