Sr. Copywriter

Our F500 financial services client is looking for a Sr. Copywriter to work in their internal creative agency who naturally writes clever headlines with punch and even some wit. This writer is expected to write catchy, clear, straightforward body copy to a variety of segments; mass, business, and affluent, and an understanding of the nuances on how best to communicate with each. Scriptwriting for videos and digital merchandising is also important to this role.

Length: 3-4 months | 40 hours/ week onsite

Responsibilities:
Write clever headlines with punch and wit.
Write catchy, clear, straightforward body copy to a variety of segments: mass, business, affluent and understand the nuances on how best to communicate with each.
Great storyteller.
Scriptwriting for videos and digital merchandising.
Become expert in brand voice and style
Work closely with Compliance Team to vet and approve final versions
Partner with designers and external vendors to make content come to life
Deliver consistent, accurate and high-quality content


Desired Skills and Experience:
Degree in Communications/Public Relations/Advertising
5-7 years of experience in an internal marketing department
Financial copywriting experience
Advertising agency experience is a plus
Possess a strong command of grammar, spelling and style
Eye for design/layout/formatting
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Flexible and adaptive to changing priorities
