Sr. Copywriter

Aquent is looking for a Sr. Copywriter to help solve communication problems. Proposes options for branding, concepts, campaigns and executions. Writes for both short- and long-form applications and makes revisions as needed. Applies best-practice cross channel messaging. Maintains high-quality brand standards & QA. This role is a go-to copy-writing resource for Emerging Business initiatives, working within the internal Advertising team. Will work with subject-matter experts, ranging from product and marketing managers to market research and insights managers, to create advertising, direct mail, digital advertising, marketing documents, campaign concepts, style guides, etc. This role will also contribute to direct-to-consumer marketing campaigns for both traditional media (direct mail, inserts, flyers) and new media (mobile, email, website, social media).

Primary Tasks: Messaging concepting. Brand voice creation & management. Campaign writing. Cross channel execution. Consumer marketing. CRM marketing. You will create campaign concepts, write tier 1 - 3 messaging headlines and create consistently styled body & detail copy. You will work with Designers, Art Directors, Creative Directors & QC to create & revise messaging. Copy will be formatted for multiple channels of communication.

Required Skills: Excellent writing skills. Advertising experience. Stellar portfolio. Ability to work in collaborative setting. Able to work within brand style guidelines. Creative writing & concepting.

Preferred Skills: Direct marketing copy skills. Agency experience.
