Sr. Contracts Specialist

To provide direct procurement support for our client with a focus in general MRO goods and services procurement.    

The position requirements include the following:

•RFx development, review, analysis summarization of all agreements for goods and services required in support of the business.

•Lead procurement related efforts through coordination and consultation with Business Units, Stakeholders and Project Managers on RFx responses, Statement of Works (SOW), Master Service Agreements (MSA's)

•Contract document review to include familiarity with contract terms and conditions and negotiation of contract agreements to include pricing and scope of work. .

•Coordination and planning of required meetings.

•Discussions with business units to develop agreements for specific business requirements.

•Advise Users / Management on all aspects of procurement policies and procedures.

•Exceptional communication skills with diverse audiences; including presentation skills and experience

 

Major Area of Responsibility    

Management and administration of contracts

Management of all job specific related procurements to include outlining of project requirements within agreements;

Development of negotiating strategies and scheduling for successful administration of External Service Providers

RFQ / RFP Planning and Analysis    

Coordination and planning of required meetings / discussions with business units to develop agreements for specific business requirements;

Review adequacy of requirements;

Advise Users / Management on all aspects of procurement policies and procedures; Preparation of comparative proposal analysis to provide meaningful recommendations

HNA Legal coordination

Prepare Statement of Legal Reviews as necessary and work with HNA to modify legal documentation to safeguard the interest of contracting parties.

 

Work Experience

•7 to 10+ years of progressively challenging procurement industry experience in an MRO/Service environment.

•Knowledge and experience with Consumer Financial Protection Bureau regulations is a plus.

•Individual must possess basic computer skills with added proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.).

•Knowledge of and experience with Procurement ERP systems (ARIBA, SAP, PeopleSoft, etc.).
