Job Summary and Mission
The copywriter of digital content is a critical role in making our client one of the most engaging, thoughtful and innovative digital Brands in the world by leading the tone and voice development to create best-in-class content and experiences within our digital and social media practice.

The person in this position possesses an understanding of creative campaign development, but doesn’t think in terms of ads—but in terms of engagement. They understand what it takes to extend a Brand digitally in a way that is additive, not redundant to the offline experience.

Summary of Key Responsibilities
The copywriter on the Global Digital Marketing team plays a critical role in helping to articulate the client voice in the social media space. This role is responsible for bringing the tone and voice of the Client's Brand(s) to life across social media channels. This means having a clear understanding of channel best practices with a firm understanding of the Client's brand voice—to write pitch perfect copy to help the client connect with different audiences in channel appropriate ways. The copywriter is responsible for developing of best-in-class social media ideas, content, and experiences.

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
• Ability to promote and present creative initiatives to internal stakeholders
• Development of voice and copy thorough concept, presentation, and execution phases
• Proven ability to extend offline creative into the online space in a way that is additive
• Motivated by fast paced environment and eager to learn

• Writes clear, persuasive, original copy for various social/digital channels
• Demonstrated ability to brainstorm unique, engaging and relevant digital/social ideas and execute them.
• Ability to create engagement ideas and executions in support of our promotions and storytelling across paid, owned and earned platforms
• Ensures a consistent brand presence is maintained across all media

• Ability to work with others to develop engaging, timely creative content
• Contributes to maintaining a strong team-oriented environment


Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Digital copywriting and content creation experience, preferably with a digital Agency
• Digitally-savvy with an passion for the latest news, events, products and trends pertaining to the web and online marketing
• Work independently and as part of a team
• Motivated, energetic self-starter with strong problem solving skills
• Energized by working in a fast paced organization
• Track record of exceeding expectations and delivering on-time
• Ability to conceptualize, develop ideas and messages around business and marketing objectives and apply strategic thinking to creative problems.
• Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Strong grasp of language rules, specifically grammar usage, spelling and punctuation
• Attention to detail
• Fluent in emoji

Summary of Experience
• 3+ years experience as a writer in an advertising Agency or digital Agency or digital department
• Versatility is helpful, but writing is the core skill
• Strong conceptual skills
• Experience with consumer brands
• Understanding of the nuance and norms of digital communication platforms and capabilities
• Passion for digital marketing, with a POV on the role of Social Media within marketing communications
• Ability to execute against brand guidelines
• Ability to bring Brand voice to life in a consistent, ongoing manner across platforms
• Team player
