Sr. Content Strategist (Onsite)

Our client, a digital agency in Boston, is looking for a Content Strategist. This position is contract and starts as as soon as the right candidate is found.

Tasks and responsibilities include:
- Use CMS to build Web pages; flow content (copy, images, video, links) into CMS application and publish to site
- Tag site content with keywords and other metadata
- Collaborate with technical teams to troubleshoot and resolve content issues in CMS and on live production environment
- Participate in content planning and content strategy for site and associated channels
- Collaboration with internal teams across disciplines (Creative, Account Management, etc.)
- Contribute to documentation of strategy and POV during the content planning process
- Assist in tracking content that is published to site
- Contribute to planning for site enhancements and new functionality (in collaboration with technical and client teams)
- Communicate site specifications (character counts, image sizes, etc) to creative teams working on new content
- Contribute to deliverables for “special projects” – examples: - Editorial calendar - Governance planning - Usability - Social content collaboration - Site Migration (planning work for sunsetting current micro-sites) - QA for new content - Work with teams to create and refine workflows for publishing content - Proactively edit content issues on the site (and optimizing) - Maintain high quality on creative and presentation deliverables

Requirements:
- Strong digital content experience
- Mastery of interactivity and the Web
- Basic understanding of front end development technologies
- Familiarity with common social platforms
- Ability to multi-task and work efficiently under pressure
- Creative agency experience
- Availability to travel as needed
