We are seeking a Senior Project Manager of Content for one of our Fortune 500 CPG clients’ in- house creative agency. 

The Senior Content Project Manager is a critical role and key collaborator who works alongside the various disciplines (digital, content, print, packaging) to develop the schedule, budget, activities, and deliverables that comprise the project plan. They organize the team around a project methodology and drive successful outcomes by aligning the efforts of team members and stakeholders to the project plan. They track tasks and financials and report out accurately to leadership and clients. Our project managers understand creative and brand strategy in order to successfully drive the project teams forward with vision. They know how to command a room, communicating and collaborating to build relationships at every level, and they bring a sense of humor and creative flair to the way they work. 


We expect the right candidate to have experience across the digital project life cycle—from discovery, to UX, through to production, implementation and delivery—with demonstrated ability of having created content across all media (video, print, digital) for integrated campaigns. They are savvy with social engagement platforms and have a finger on the pulse with new technology trends. They will have had exposure to web development process, mobile or app content, and video and photography production. This role is also a leader within the department and responsible for managing, training and coaching a small team of direct reports. Role reports to the Project Management Group Manager. Opportunity to manage direct reports for the right individual. Must be on site - Office is located close to BART in Oakland, CA. 

Responsibilities 
 Act as key liaison between the in-house agency and brand engagement leads, E- commerce leads, brand category managers, R&D and other cross-functional clients within the company. 
 Collaborate with client stakeholders and project discipline leads to identify requirements, determine project scope and deliverables, set priorities and establish milestones. 
 Develop project plans, estimates, schedules, and statements of work. 
 Accurately track and clearly communicate status, progress, and financials to the project team and to stakeholders. 
 Orchestrate activities and deliverables between internal teams, external partners, vendors and clients. 
 Serve as an initial escalation step for project-related problem resolution within the in- house agency. 
 Partner seamlessly with group account leads for client happiness/health and communications. 
 Deliver earliest possible notice of project needs for forecasting resourcing, capacity, and technology needs within the in-house agency. 
 Ensure awareness of and adherence to agency policies and best practices. 
 Contribute to the project’s strategic vision and take ownership in the quality of the final product. 
 Maintain department status and resource planning activities. 
 Manage, oversight and mentor a team of 1 – 3 project managers. 


Qualifications 
 8 years of experience as project manager with at least 5 years in a digital or integrated agency context, ideally with experience in consumer packaged goods. 
 Familiarity with standard software project management methodologies, workflow and tools. Knowledge of Agile methods and the Scrum framework is desired. 
 Comprehensive knowledge of advertising projects and processes (e.g. broadcast, OOH, OTT, digital, social & print). 
 Deep knowledge of state-of-the-art web technologies, design and user experience best practices. 
 Solid understanding of file specifications; resolution, color space and other technical requirements of assets needed for image production for web and mobile. 
 Demonstrated success in providing mentorship and guidance in a project context. 
 Agency-side or internal agency experience - familiarity with a client-service context. 
 Ability to gracefully navigate a complex system of stakeholders with disparate objectives and priorities. 
 Education: Minimum bachelor's degree required. PMP certification a plus.
