Sr. Content Marketing Manager - Online Product Lead

A small online product marketing team at a F100 financial services company is looking for a Sr. Content Marketing Manager to strategize, measure and execute on their online product goals across desktop, mobile and other digital platforms.

The person in this position is responsible for strategizing and collaborating with the internal team and various stakeholders across departments and a content to provide strategy and execution on the migration, optimization, and ongoing updates for their public site areas, provide direction on customer needs centric content, and ongoing public site optimization efforts.

The successful candidate must be a self-starter able to dive in, review and pull data for strategic insights, communicate across groups and achieve results. The candidate must also have proven success in working with multiple stakeholders, managing relationships and projects and setting and achieving deadlines. The candidate should also have a strong background in content marketing, analytics and reviewing reports for insights, search engine optimization (SEO) expertise, creating and maintaining an editorial calendar, familiarity with content management systems, and experience in assessing the performance of content.

Responsibilities:
- Work closely with a content manager to oversee the editorial calendar for updates to the site and other public site content updates that relate
- Manage and oversee the end-to-end process for updating educational content in key areas of the public site
- Apply SEO principles and resources toward identifying topics and creating digital content
- Manage relationships from business, legal, and technology representatives
- Collaborate with stakeholders and compliance teams as needed to capture all required approvals
- Work with social media partners to broaden awareness of certain key public site content
- Create detailed content decks (e.g., body content, links, metadata, disclosures) used for publishing new content
- Oversee and participate in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) of public site pages in development
- Become well versed in the public site design frameworks
- Provide strategic direction and status updates as needed to stakeholders, including post-launch metrics analysis

Candidates should:
- Be proactive, self-starter with strengths in cross-communication and relationship building
- Possess ability to assess and deliver ideal user experiences
- Past experience in SEO; past experience in using SEO analysis platforms is a plus
- Have strong relationship management skills to work with stakeholders and build relationships
- Demonstrate the ability to manage their time efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Have proven experience in prioritizing work from multiple projects based on dependencies and pending deadlines
- Demonstrate an ability and interest in technology with the ability to capture technical details required in project definition documents, business requirements, etc.
- Have a technology background in banking, brokerage, or insurance industry
- Examples of prior work with content development and optimization may be requested
- Microstrategy familiarity a plus
