Aquent is seeking for a Senior Communications Manager located ONSITE in Chicago 3 days a week and work 2 days remote. The Senior Communications Manager has a critical role in the Digital marketing team for both the national and SMB sides of the business. This role is responsible for supervising and coordinating the day-to-day production and editorial quality of all communications materials, thought leadership activities and content. The Senior Communications Manager reports to the Director of Public Relations & Content and will be assigned to daily, weekly and monthly assignments.

To succeed in this role and help further the evolution of Digital’s corporate communications strategy, the Senior Communications Manager must be a natural storyteller and have a knack for crafting words that provoke, challenge and surprise readers. This individual controls the quality of all communications materials and thought leadership content, copyedits all work from content marketing specialists, provides creative direction to designers and project-manages in a timely manner. He/she must have at least 5-7 years of experience in B2B-focused marketing communications roles within the digital marketing, technology and advertising industry. Most importantly, the Senior Communications Manager maintains very high quality and style standards, manages assignments and editorial calendars and understands how to cohesively tell the most compelling stories about our business through varying forms of communications, marketing initiatives and content. This team member will often act as a coach, encouraging the content marketing specialists, and even designers to produce content against the schedule.

Responsibilities:
 Provide research and analysis to support the creation of thought leadership and point of view reports, white papers, bylined articles, blog posts, tweets, newsletters and
presentations.
 Act as primary copy editor (and support writing) for all research studies, infographics, case studies, white papers, ebooks, webinars, landing pages, press releases, bylines and
presentations in a variety of different media including print and electronic digital channels.
 Interview key stakeholders and subject matter experts to develop input for thought leadership and written deliverables.
 Collaborate with client services and sales teams to develop customer success stories for external use (case studies, press announcements, speaking engagements, guest blogs,
etc.)
 Develop brand letterhead templates, boilerplates, executive bios and headshots
 Maintain calendars for all speaking engagements, conferences and awards
 Submit G/O Digital executives (and clients/partners) for speaking engagements/panels at industry conferences
 Submit G/O Digital (and executives) for industry awards
 Prepare talking points, briefing materials and supporting research for senior executives to be used during press interviews/meetings and speaking engagements/panel sessions
 Determine how to promote and position speaker content pre, during and post conferences.
 Develop invitations, program, and promotional materials for industry conferences/events.
 Ensure content marketing specialists stay on track with all assignments
 Ensure compliance to G/O Digital’s editorial style/guidelines, branding, and publishing requirements
 Regularly report on project status to Director of Public Relations & Content
