Sr Business Intelligence Analyst

A top-notch advertising agency in SF is looking for Sr Business Intelligence Analyst to interpret data from digital sources. This position starts as soon as the right person is found and will convert to full-time in 90 days.

The analyst will be responsible for uncovering key insights and important trends for clients in the healthcare/pharma space. Successful candidate should be able to turn data analysis output into initial ideas and actionable client recommendations.

Responsibilities include:

- Reviewing reports and data for important stand-outs, patterns, and inconsistencies that point to underlying trends or outliers
- Identifying opportunities the data suggests could result in important agency or client action
- Applying common data reductions and transformations (distribution, factor, regression, CHAID, clustering or other techniques)
- Performing simple A/B and similar tests
- Evaluating campaign performance against forecast and benchmark and establishing benchmarks where appropriate
- Establishing a standard set of measures and dashboard template

MUST-HAVE:
- At least 3-5 years of data analysis experience at a marketing/advertising agency or marketing analytics firm
- At least 5-7 years of hands-on experience generating reports, dashboards, supporting research or analyzing marketing data
- Prior experience working with digital tools including DART / AdServe (DoubleClick), AdCenter (Microsoft), AdWords (Google), WebTrends, Omniture (SiteCatalyst), Google Analytics, Majestic, SEOMoz, Site Manager (Google)
- Experience with data visualization tools (eg, Roambi, Tableau, Qlikview, etc), or data mining tools (such as SAS, SQL, SPSS) a plus.
