Sr. Brand Designer

This Contractor role is for a senior designer who will be responsible for the development, management and execution of comprehensive brand identity and brand experience on a specified design project.

The main objective of this role is to support the development of a brand design experience project– including packaging and beyond. This means planning, organizing, and implementing consistent design principles and production processes to ensure that the design/production guardrails are met.

Accountabilities:

Brand Design Development:
-Takes ownership of the visual identity/brand experience for specific brands/activations in the portfolio, working in collaboration with the Head of Global Beverages Design and the other design leaders, cutting across brand, product, packaging, marketing equipment, and advertising requirements.
-Execute those requirements into design experience systems and solutions.
-Responsible for driving to final design recommendations, decisions and design approval to enable artwork execution / production phases.
-Ensure thorough consideration of all project variables and that the final solution will perform as planned.

Qualifications:
• 5+ years of deep brand design experience
• Extraordinary design aesthetic and expertise
• Extraordinary ability in using the Adobe Creative Suite software
• Strong strategic thinker with experience directing complex projects across multiple media and touch points
• Brand experience design expertise/experience beyond packaging – specifically retail & out-of store environments, including digital/mobile/video
• Design management but also design execution – could be hands-on if needed
• Ability to work in ambiguous and dynamic work environment; is comfortable with risk and uncertainty
• Can effectively influence senior levels in the organization across regions and functions
• Can get things done through formal and informal channels; able to function in a matrix environment
• Effectively communicates (verbally and written) with internal and external stakeholders across all levels
• Works well with others to deliver results; keeps others informed to avoid unnecessary surprises
