Our client is looking for a Sr Art Director. The ideal talent will be responsible for but not limited to:

The Sr. Art Director drives the creative concepting/direction for the creative execution of all marketing creative team projects. This is a senior-level role, which requires significant design and creative experience, responsibility, and business sense. Working together with various cross-functional groups, the Sr. Art Director leads the creative team to achieve requested marketing business objectives and produce excellent results through innovative concepts that will foster growth for the business. He/She provides input on all aspects of the creative strategic direction for projects and manages, mentors and develops all functions represented within his/her span of control. This individual must be a hands-on creative and produce mobile, web, digital, print, email, work along with their team members.

Responsibilities include:
• Develop concepts and supporting materials for a holistic brand relaunch as well as day-to-day marketing needs
• Be a brand steward: manage design, typography, overall visual identity and strategy.
• Be a brand evangelist for the company-at-large, sharing with other groups the importance of consistency in delivering our brand promise
• Assist in the selection of photographers/illustrators/videographers and work with the team to create campaigns and other supporting brand artwork
• Keep brand marketing management aware of pertinent project activity
• Stay Creatively Fresh: actively seek and share digital inspiration (creative, technology, general digital trends) with marketing team members and executives, as appropriate
• Must be able to present ideas in an organized, professional, and effective manner
• Responsible for managing workload and timelines
• Maintain awareness of brand budgets

Education/Experience:
● 7+ years of design and art direction experience either at agency or client-side
● Four-year degree preferred in design or similar discipline
● Portfolio consisting of mid to high-budget print and digital projects, preferably launching new brands across multiple touch points
● Previous work samples must demonstrate industry, conceptual and technical diversity
● Exceptional eye for design and aesthetics.
● Passion for user experience (UX) design.
● Examples of using unusual or unconventional formats
● Samples of brochures, videos, storyboards, wireframes, ad comps, showing evidence of thinking outside the box while achieving goals
● Must have Direct Mail, web and mobile experience, financial services a plus
● Ability to bring process, technology or people solutions to the table with regard to design and print process
● Social media experience a plus
