This Sr Art Director is a member of the management team responsible for leading the creative strategy and vision for key accounts and the business.

Key Responsibilities

Actively engage with the Director of Strategic Planning and account teams.
New business presentations and client engagement.
Provide strategic direction and leadership on all client work, guiding design teams in developing concepts through to effective execution.
Evaluate the scope of projects, prioritize work and manage resources to meet strategic, time and financial objectives.
In partnership with the account lead, ensure that client presentations are timely, professional, engaging and supported by sound business rationale.
Manage and mentor the creative team, fostering a culture of innovation, excellence and integrity.
Set and maintain creative standards for the department and enforce accountability.
Ensure all creative work is conceptually powerful, strategically on target and maintains a standard of excellence across multiple mediums.
Work with senior management team to improve processes and tools to increase product quality and efficiency.
Challenge and introduce new and innovative methods of creative execution.

Key Skills & Attributes

Strong interpersonal and communications skills
A creative visionary with a proven ability to lead and mentor a team
Experience in a leadership role with a minimum 7 years of experience in developing creative solutions for a wide range of clients, across a broad range of media including promotion, advertising, interactive, mobile, social and packaging
Proven experience elevating client’s brands, executing project deliverables and generating leading-edge creative from concept development to production
Ability to judge creative concepts and copy, and clearly communicate creative direction to others
Driven and committed to continuous improvement
Superior problem solving and decision making skills
Excellent communication, time management and presentation skills
