Sr. Account Planner

This is a rare contract-to-hire opportunity for the right person to contribute to this growing digital firm.

You will be responsible for the development of consumer insights and strategies that drive creative and marketing plans. You will work with digital and traditional media platforms and perform qualitative/quantitative research. This position requires the ability to analyze and extract research to determine what drives human and consumer behavior.

You will:

- Lead day-to-day planning and research process to develop a deep understanding of our client’s customers and business environment
- Work closely with a variety of cross-functional internal teams
- Lead client discovery sessions and interviews
- Research products or services needed to gain technical or specific knowledge of a variety of industries and verticals
- Conduct data analysis through primary and/or secondary research for the purposes of providing customer analytics, campaign analytics, forecasting, reporting and optimization
- Analyze and interpret customer response and sales data in order to evaluate the effectiveness of messaging and campaigns
- Provide creative and marketing teams with clearly defined briefs that contain concise information on the product, audience and strategy,


You should have:
- 5+ years experience
- Previous management and/or leadership experience preferred
- Strategic vision
- Ability to manage, motivate, challenge, empower and delegate to others while leading by example
- Extensive knowledge and experience of online and other interactive and digital platforms
- Experience with media/communications planning, CRM, direct marketing and integrated communications
- Experience working with research and ability to lead the design for primary research in both quantitative and qualitative techniques
- Ex[erience working knowledge of database and segmentation strategies
- Strong communication skills
- A passion for digital marketing and emerging technologies, and the "cool stuff" emerging
- Previous experience in a a digital agency or marketing firm strongly desired
