Sr Account Manager

First and foremost MUST HAVE RECENT AGENCY EXPERIENCE! This is a senior, client-facing account management position within an embedded agency environment. A successful candidate will be assertive, motivated, organized, detail oriented and flexible; able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment; will be responsible for communicating with various teams – internal and external; demonstrated ability to juggle multiple projects with quick turnaround times as well as being able to delegate work across account and project management structures.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Maintain clear, consistent face-to-face communication with internal team, clients, media and vendors to manage needs and expectations
• Demonstrate great interpersonal and communication skills, and develop strong relationships with internal team, clients, media and vendors
• Assist Marketing Lead in managing day-to-day activities and projects
• Assess overall project workload, and escalate to Marketing Lead if project demands will exceed creative/studio capacity
• Able to evaluate creative against approved strategy/brief and ensure brand look/feel across all channels
• Management and supervision of necessary training of key client stakeholders on project management system
• Assist in management of account executives, project managers and interns
• Stay abreast of competitive and industry news; work with AEs and interns to develop competitive intelligence reports for internal and client team members
• Monitor and inform team of business and strategic implications that could impact the client’s marketing communications initiatives
• Keep a pulse on all projects, meeting with project managers and clients regularly for status updates
• Work with project managers and creative teams to effectively complete projects against brief and deliverables, ensuring high quality creative but with an eye on deadlines and estimates
• Assist project managers with obtaining approvals, generating estimates and timelines, invoicing and billing reports, and overall project guidance
• Demonstrate ability to solve problems quickly and think proactively
• Effectively work under tight deadlines and multitask to manage time on projects; must be willing to do whatever it takes to meet project demands

REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s degree
• Agency background with 6-9 years of account management experience
• Experience across various channels, including but not limited to, broadcast, newspaper and magazine print, outdoor, direct mail and digital
• Seasoned in internal and external presentation of creative, concepts and procedures
• Knowledge of the retail electricity industry is a plus
