Account Supervisor Job Description

Looking for a seasoned Sr. Account Executive, preferably with external agency experience that would be interesting in working in-house. Potential candidate will work with respective marketing partners to identify communication objectives and strategies, organize and develop scope to bring about the successful completion of project goals and objectives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Client Partnership: Build a deep trusting relationship with the Marketing partners; Manage a substantial amount of account workload; Proactively work with Marketing on upcoming projects in relation to overall corporate objectives; Anticipate business partner demands; Share ideas and opinions; Set appropriate expectations; Seek and shares results on a regular basis.

2. Strategic Thinking: Develop clear and insightful creative strategies; Ensure Agency and Marketing agree on direction; Present strategies ensuring main thought and insights support our brand promise and corporate objectives; Work with Business partners to define success of work

3. Leadership: Oversee day-to-day management of your business; Ensure communication is timely and constructive; Guide internal and external meetings; Be concise and follow up on decisions ensuring all move in the appropriate direction. Be proactive – anticipate problems before they happen. Make sure the project team is aligned, and on-board to execute decisions

4. Creativity: Establish a motivating and productive relationship with creative and marketing partners; Anticipate, understand and fulfill information needs across all departments you support; Present strategy to Senior members of the Agency; ensure creative meets business objectives by providing insightful, candid and professional assessment; Display willingness to take a calculated risk – bring new ideas to the table

5. Salesmanship: Work closely with creative to prepare well thought out presentations to the Business; Present creative strategy to Marketing partners; Communicate logical, compelling and definitive perspectives on the creative based on the strategy; actively listen and appropriately respond to Marketing’s feedback.

6. Teamwork: Give support and reinforcement to team members; Recognize and respect differing opinions; Play the role of team captain for all day to day activity; Establish appropriate priorities and expectations to internal and external team members; Show appreciation for individual and team accomplishments; Share team success to Marketing and Agency. Be a mentor and role model for junior AE’s to learn best practices from. Play the role of team captain for all day-to-day activity/motivate your project team.

Requirements:
• 5-7 years experience working in an account service role at an advertising agency preferred.
• Flexible and outgoing personality with strategic and innovative thinking skills.
• Strong communication skills; both written and oral.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Strong understanding of branding, marketing, digital marketing and media.
• Demonstrates ability to thrive in a fast-paced, fluid environment.
• Attention to detail and good follow through.
• Self-motivated and team player.
