Title: Sports Marketing Director
Position Workgroup: Consumer Marketing


The purpose of this position is to drive strategy, planning, and execution of best in class activations that maximize this retail companies investment in Sports Stadiums and SF Giants.

This candidate will lead planning and development of robust 360 degree marketing plans and activation which amplify stadium partnerships locally and nationally and across all relevant touch points.

Oversee use of sponsorship entitlements, ensuring maximization of partnership and brand consistency across all properties.

Partner with Insights on development of measurable KPIs, and ensure alignment across key stakeholders.
Ensure Sr Leadership is well informed of all activity relating to the Stadiums + Activations, and has confidence in the team’s ability to deliver.

Oversees ticket allocation, and ensures effective use to drive business goals.

Lead planning + execution of upcoming sports events.

Evaluation of sponsorship extensions, including NFL.

Ensures out of the box thinking – smart activation - ownable to this retail companies brand.

Develop evolution of sponsorship for years 2-5.

Leads team of 2.

Job Requirements:
The idea candidate will have direct and relevant experience in sports and stadium sponsorship management,contractual entitlements, NFL partnerships, Super Bowl activations.
This individual will have existing relationships NFL and MLB.
Experience working with top sports leagues, teams and players.
NFL, MLB and player contract negation experience.
Demonstrated success launching and developing sports activation at grass roots level to major events that were uniquely ownable for a brand.
Strong intuitive business sense to help inform prioritization of efforts to amplify sports strategy.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to create process, structure and long-term strategy.
A “doer”… Everyone on the team must be willing to roll up their sleeves and get dirty!
