We are looking for a Sports Content Researcher to join one of the largest leading gaming teams in the world based in Soho.
• Rate £300 - £350 per day
• Contract will be for 3 months initially and will start asap.

Please find the job description below for you – this is not a technical role and is essentially there to support the content strategist. We will be favouring German/ French speakers - ideally both!

The Studio:

Successful Content Researchers with our client move seamlessly between conducting editorial research, contributing to content ideation and acting as the content researcher.

You will need to be:
• A keen sports fan with a strong working knowledge of sports editorial
• Passionate about developing relevant timely content
• Focused on driving engagement using editorial conversion techniques
• Committed to maintaining content integrity by producing a best-in-class experience.

The client’s Content Researchers are just as comfortable brainstorming as they are rolling up their sleeves and producing detailed deliverables. They work closely with key stakeholders on the team to understand audience insights and work to impact evolution the product.
You must have excellent written and communication skills, be able to work to tight deadlines and have a keen eye for detail.
Specifically, your responsibilities will include:
• Researching sports content including (breaking) news and trending stories
• Helping with content audits and content reviews
• Working with the Content Strategy Lead to understand content needs
• Driving engagement through understanding content metrics within a test and learn culture

Required Experience and Qualification

• Working knowledge of editorial research techniques
• Understanding of social media
• At least five years working with online sports content
• Demonstrated experience with sports content
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Self-motivated with a drive for excellence
• Working knowledge of German and French significant advantage
• Friendly can-do attitude

2 plus years editing experience required. Strong writing, editing, project management, communication and organization skills required. Must have the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work as part of a team. Bachelor's degree in Journalism, English or a field related to the subject area in which they will be working is required.
