The Supply Chain Management Planning Specialist contributes to the overall operational success of the Digital Products Division through planning and coordinating the end-to-end supply chain managing the complete product lifecycle from product introductions, through sustaining production, to the end of life of the product.

REQUIREMENTS:
• BS/BA in Business Administration, or an equivalent combination of education and related business experience.
• Plus a minimum of (8) years of experience in supply planning and analysis, preferably in the high-tech industry.
• Experience in using i2/JDA Planning tools such as Supply Chain Planner (SCP) preferred. Other MRP systems experience is recommended.
• Superior Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint Skills desirable.
• Strong analytical skills, high level of accuracy and demonstrated skill at extracting data from multiple sources and consolidating into management friendly information that can contribute to solid decision making.
• Strong time management skills with demonstrated ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and juggle ever-changing priorities and deadlines.
• Experience with Oracle or other ERP system is preferred.
• Ability to resolve issues and develop new processes when necessary.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence and persuade with a positive attitude.
• Ability to work effectively within the SCM team and with Sales, Marketing, suppliers and factories.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Prepare and coordinate communications of supply/demand data between Sales, factories, suppliers, and other divisions for the assigned Products within the Digital Products Division; effectively support Sales requirements through the Weekly Demand & Supply (WDS) Balancing and Material Planning processes using ABPP and SCP planning tools. Preparing and distributing weekly supply availability information to all related functional groups.
• Create, update, and maintain the Weekly Demand & Supply (WDS) balancing new/revised purchase request data.
• Prepare and publish weekly performance reports in line with departmental metrics/goals.
• Assist with maintaining business tools such as Oracle, Discoverer, AS400, and i2/JDA to meet planning needs.
• Responsible for the logistics method planning and the associated purchasing process management.
• Establish weekly/monthly supply plans to meet budget and forecast requirements. Creates purchase orders based on monthly PSI Purchase requirements, including status and expediting of the orders. Creates and executes weekly shipping instructions to Japan and other related suppliers and coordinates receipts with the logistics group.
• Ensures that inventory purchases are in accordance with budget and forecast, while meeting the DOI targets and keeping backorders minimized. Ensures that Excess Inventory Reduction Targets are met.
• Ensures timely delivery of products in the most economical and quality conscious manner.
