SPACE PLANNER- Retail/Corporate/CPG client
Must have a background in Interior Design at a corporate level - strong corporate experience preferred.
Responsible for weekly move coordination. Engages clients, including senior management, to determine block planning and any special requirements for group and weekly moves. Interacts with all hiring managers for onboarding needs. Provides support to facilities team on facilities projects including new construction, building improvement and minor alterations. Receive and manage customer move requests via the Work Order system. Create move drawings and material issue tickets for all moves. Coordinates moves with porters, IT, and networking teams. Maintains accurate seating/space utilization records, working with Archibus and AutoCAD. Working with the ergonomic team, the move coordinator manages and tracks ergonomic requests, and facilitates ergonomic equipment installations. Responsible for related purchase order requisitions, invoice processing, financial tracking, vendor interactions, vendor quotes and other tasks. Receive and manage work order requests related to the Engineering and Design department. Conduct space and utilization audits as needed. Keep furniture inventory sheets current. Accepts projects, special assignments, Subject Matter Expert responsibilities, and administrative duties as assigned.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (MINIMUM):
Ability to read construction drawings at a level required to review and approve layout plans drawn by a designer and explain plans to furniture and equipment installers. Coordination of vendors and contractors. Strategic facility planning and change management methodologies. Workplace strategy innovation.
BS in Interior Design or related field
Organizational skills with the ability to identify and manage priorities. Customer facing position which requires excellent customer skills in a fast paced role in a fast paced environment. Must be AutoCAD proficient. Ability to space plan and knowledge of architectural building codes is a plus.
