Software Technical Product Marketing Manager

This position reports directly to the Manager of Software marketing. The Technical Product Manager provides marketing leadership in defining product feature set, software architecture, the MRD and action plans that drive the organization to be a market leader. Conducts market analysis and market research to determine emerging trends, markets and product categories.

Provides guidance to product planning on the changes in the software market ecosystem, user needs & competitive trend assessments, and leads integration of the technology and use cases into the product roadmap. Be the focal point for and evaluate business opportunities with key industry partners.

Develop a thorough knowledge of the SaaS marketplace through primary and syndicated research, accumulation of market trend data including long range underlying trends, interfacing with all departments of the organization, and by analyzing customer, competitor and product trends.

Roles and Responsibility
This position is responsible for evaluating and management of new software initiatives and business opportunities and identifying customer needs. The position will be responsible for creating business development strategies to achieve aggressive growth objectives.

The emphasis of the role will be to provide guidance in the planning, designing and implementing of software and services using the cloud infrastructure. Work with cross functional team in the development and preparation of strategic and plans, ensuring the consistency of those plans with the broader objectives. Leads the planning, evaluation and execution of new software business alliances that are driven by the business unit/corporate strategy.

1. Identify opportunities through customer insight, primary and secondary market research.
2. Develop a framework for ROI analysis and decisions making for securing support/approval of strategic initiatives.
3. Communicate strategic initiatives to extended team and upper management
4. Work with strategic partners to address key technology integration and software solutions
5. Identifies key opportunities for business in conjunction with engineering and marketing team

Key Deliverables:
1. Own the product lifecycle from concept through production release and end of life
6. Implement customer and market insights into actionable business and product requirements
7. Identify key Software and Service partners
8. Present Business Plan/ROI on strategic initiatives
9. Software and Technology Opportunity Analysis

c. Define go to market and channel strategy
10. Develop and implement a system of monitoring and reporting progress on established strategic initiatives
