Social/Email Interactive Production Designer

Our client's interactive team is in search of a digital production designer with a strong background in creating innovated web-based emails, landing page, and social media designs for premiere B2B brands with a keen eye towards mobile and responsive design techniques.

As a key contributor of our in-house interactive team, you’ll have a voice and a hand in many digital marketing projects. You’ll be a brand steward, brand shaper, and a brand ambassador. When people say “what should we do here?” in a meeting, you’ll be asked to move beyond offering concepts, color palettes, and grid systems to offering critical thoughts about business objectives and how to solve them.

What you’ll be doing:

  • create innovative and effective design solutions, including email campaigns, landing pages, and social media graphics.
  • collaborate with design, UX, front end, and editorial teams to marry design with content
  • successfully extend designs across different devices: desktop, tablet, mobile, via responsive design techniques
  • work independently and as a part of a larger team
  • interact clearly and confidently with internal clients to determine visual needs and present ideas
  • see a project from start to finish; be comfortable with doing detective work and research when needed
  • drive brand consistency while creating new digital design patterns

Skills you’ll need:

  • 3+ years of interactive email and landing page web design work experience with premium brands
  • ability to think through design problems and arrive at elegant solutions
  • be a self starter. Manage time wisely with an eye for detail. Thrive in a deadline-driven environment
  • social media graphic expert with a proven track record of designing images for the different social media properties
  • ability to adopt and understand corporate branding and brand guidelines to web properties
  • good understanding of email and landing page coding technologies and responsive coding capabilities
  • be able to receive feedback and art direction
  • strong spoken and written English communication skills
  • zen-like mastery in Photoshop, with working knowledge of InDesign, Illustrator, Muse, and Animate
  • understanding of CSS and HTML, user interface design, and user experience flows
  • a clean and modern design aesthetic is preferred
  • a sense of humor and good listening skills a plus
