Title: Social Media/Community Manager
Location: Seattle
Duration: ASAP - 4/14/14 (Part time to start (20hrs), but is expected to get approval for full time conversion and 40hrs/week)
Description:

AQUENT is looking for an experienced Community Manager who is excited about the opportunity to be one of the voices of a MAJOR Fortune 500 Brand across a variety of social media platforms. The ideal candidates will have a demonstrated history of managing communities for major consumer Brands, across multiple platforms. Your depth of platform knowledge (both functional as well as strategic) and your proven ability to drive meaningful engagement with your communities that fueled both growth and positive sentiment, will set you apart from the field.

Ideal candidate will have:
1.) Paid Media experience (digital advertising)
2.) PR experience supporting digital
3.) agency background, or some sort of creative background

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Work closely with strategic planner and internal stakeholders on social media strategy, content creation and editorial calendar development for the brand.
• Own and proactively manage the brand's editorial calendar with input from multiple stakeholders
• Posting to social channels: maintain a consistent voice across channels aligned with branding and target audience
• Monitor conversations across social media and address questions/mentions in real-time through engagement, escalation, or documentation
• Spark discussion and engagement on social media channels
• Curate content from internal and external sources and share across appropriate social channels
• Discover trending topics, community needs, and interests of target audience across social media, adjusting content and messaging accordingly
• Generate insight into community performance and provide recommendations for improvement
• Work with analysts to help build social media reports and aggregate data into actionable insights to inform marketing

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Experience with social media platforms and online engagement tools (e.g. Hootsuite, Simply Measured, etc)
• A driving passion for social media, building community, interacting with various audiences
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational, time and self-management skills
• Strong sense of initiative and ability to work under pressure on multiple projects
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Motivated, energetic self-starter with strong problem solving skills

• 3-5 years of professional level social media experience across multiple consumer Brands
• Strong knowledge of platform capabilities
