Social Media/Community Manager

The Social Media Community Manager, at one of our valued financial service investment clients in NJ, will work directly with Product Managers to cultivate the client’s online brand identities and maintain a powerful social voice to strengthen and build online relationships.

Responsibilities:

1. Create a comprehensive social media strategy to define programs that use social media marketing techniques to strengthen and increase relationships
2. Increase visibility and traffic across all digital assets and integrate with existing corporate website.
3. Develop and post daily content designed to strengthen and build relationships with investment advisors
4. Motivate Investment Relationship Advisors to connect directly to drive relevant conversations around investment products and technology
5. Monitor brand profiles, evaluate incoming activity and respond skillfully
6. Research the web and the social web for applicable content to repost, reply to and comment on
7. Develop social media metrics plan and monitor effectiveness; track discussions and gauge influence and brand sentiment
8. Communicate and collaborate with other social media programs within the firm

Qualifications:

• 4 year college degree
• Experience in marketing/communications in Financial Services in a B2B environment
• Experience in community management/social media marketing
• Ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization
• Understanding of social media strategy and trends; ability to navigate new and existing social tools/platforms with courage and ease
• Demonstrated ability to grow social followings, yielding ongoing, meaningful brand connections
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills
• Ability to be detail oriented in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in the financial service industry, specifically brokerage and investment services
• In-depth Financial Services identified ability to communicate information within regulatory compliance rules
• Knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, Tumblr, FourSquare, Instagram and Google+
