Social Media and Special Events Coordinator

Our fitness/health/wellness client is on the hunt for a Social Media
and Events Coordinator. The ideal candidate will have a passion for
health and wellness that is illustrated in their personal lives.
Culturally fit is very important and our client is looking for someone
that is okay with wearing a uniform to the workplace and has no
visible tattoos or piercings.

The Social Media and Special Events Coordinator is responsible for
supporting all facets of the marketing team's responsibilities. The
Coordinator will report to the Senior Director of Marketing on all
social media content, group events and special projects to achieve
company goals.

Responsibilities:
The Social Media and Special Events Coordinator will act as the lead
content developer and strategist to increase member/consumer
engagement, drive business growth and attract new users across all
social and digital channels (Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.) as
well as work with all departments to organize, plan and execute
special events and projects as assigned.

Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising or communications or
relevant work experience
- At least 1-3 years of full-time experience in marketing,
advertising, digital marketing area strongly preferred
- Proven Social media experience and success
- In-depth, hands-on knowledge of all social and online platforms,
tools and techniques
- Experienced in curating, sourcing and managing content development
- Tech-savvy and well versed with computer applications
- Event management experience
- Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal for
developing marketing/advertising content
- Excellent Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Basic HTML and InDesign skills
