ROLE: Social Media Writer
COMPANY: Ad Agency
LOCATION: Playa Vista
DURATION: July 7th - Aug 12th
RATE: $30 - $35/hr (Based on Experience)

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:
Write, edit, and produce posts for the agencies LA’s clients
Develop highly engaging/sharable content
Generate ideas for new formats, headlines, and post types
Pitch concepted ideas to both internal teams and the clients
Plays an active role in seeking out opportunities that are fresh, original, and innovative

WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE:
1+ year of social media content experience (working at a media/social content environment is a plus)
Effective writing, communication and interpersonal skills
Highly capable of being able to locate trends before anyone else
Passion and a deep understanding for all things social media – the platforms, the media opportunities, the current state and best practices, with an eye toward the future
A competitive drive with the ability to collaborate well multiple writers, designers, and other cross functional teams
Able to think creatively and be a self-starter in a very dynamic environment
Open to work non-standard hours, including weekends, when needed
Demonstrated understanding of social media management tools like Hootsuite, Facebook, and Twitter native tools, Sprinklr, etc., and understanding of paid social media campaigns
Proven ability to get viral traffic
Familiarity with niche and emerging social platforms
