Social Media Strategist

We are seeking a Social Media Strategist with a data driven approach to execute and evaluate our client's social strategy. We are looking for an analytical and creative thinker who is passionate about social media and how it can be used to optimise engagement with our client's audience across all social platforms.
● This role will have regular project work where you must gather campaign requirements, highlight opportunities, brief our media and creative agencies to deliver and activate social campaigns.
●You will lead our buzz monitoring activity and pick up monthly reporting into the business to get a sense of how our client is being talked about online. You will brief our agency during campaigns to capture feedback and insight, and will need to be familiar with Radian 6 so that you can answer questions about what’s going on in social media from the business stakeholders.
● As well as chatting to customers using social media, you will also play a role in social influencer programme both during campaigns and as BAU. In the same way that PR team works with journalists and the media, you will work alongside the rest of the Social Media team to build industry-leading relationships. You will need to get to know what makes these people tick so that you can think of creative ways to get our message across and ultimately get people talking about us.
• Project manage and plan campaigns – both the creative delivery and the media spend.
● Production of regular buzz monitoring reports and ad-hoc reports.
● Monitoring conversations across social media platforms to discover actionable recommendations and engagement opportunities
● Delivering analytics reports and adding insights and actionable recommendations based on findings
● Manage the conversations taking place on the marketing Twitter feed, Facebook page and blog.
● Engage with social media influencers and bloggers
● Managing internal and external stakeholders to deliver successful social media campaigns
● Provide on-going advice and recommendation on the opportunities to grow social media presence within marketing and across the business and agree hand-off points between social media comms team and other functions e.g. Retail, Customer Services.
