Social Media Strategist

We will look to you to be a true evangelist of social media, backed by real-world knowledge and experience in social media strategy creation.

YOU WILL
Use a range of research tools and methodologies to develop strategic roadmaps that lead to business growth.
• Run client workshops, training and briefing sessions and provide the necessary documentation to accompany the sessions.
• Create innovative social media campaigns for B2B and B2C clients that will increase brand awareness and support content marketing strategies.
• Write coherent social media strategies in line with the client’s objectives across all social media engagement platforms (including the wider digital landscape).
• Provide a strategic view of the role of social media with capability across associated areas, such as broader digital communications or corporate communications.
• Articulate current and emerging trends in social media at an executive level to all clients, demonstrating an outstanding ability to identify and enhance opportunities to engage in online content and media marketing for all clients.
• Provide ongoing education to business on social media.

YOUR SKILLS
Minimum 5 years’ experience working in a similar role for either a digital agency or similar agency environment.
• Present effectively and autonomously at an executive level and possess excellent commercial acumen.
• Proven track record of working with listening tools such as Radian 6, Argyle Social, Simple Measured or Social Bakers.
• Capable of driving new social media business development – including seeking and responding on new business opportunities, scoping and pitching social media campaigns and projects, marketing and education.
