Social Media Strategist

Project Overview:
It’s time to craft the future of Social at Aquent's client and we’re looking for someone to support this effort. As the Content and Community Coordinator you’ll be on the front lines of engaging a community of more than 25 million followers. If you’ve ever dreamed of having a significant impact in the social space, this is it. The goal is to elevate client’s social presence, connect with their customers, and increase brand love and loyalty. Overall Responsibilities:
In this role, you’ll be responsible for leading all social content development efforts for the brand and ensuring the community is actively engaged.
You’ll work closely with internal marketing and business development teams as well as external creative and media agencies to implement smart social programs that drive measurable business results.

Top 3 Daily Responsibilities:

  1. Drive all editorial planning and calendar management for social accounts.
  2. Oversee the daily community management on Twitter, Facebook and Reddit.
  3. Support social content production initiatives.


Additional Responsibilities:
Collaborate on the overall social marketing strategy and plan
Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, and PR

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Communication, Creative Writing or related field.
3 - 5 years of social marketing experience for a large brand, game publication or developer or agency in a Social Media Strategist or Community Manager role.
Project management experience in web-based content (i.e. YouTube videos).
Deep understanding of the mobile gaming and gaming community landscape.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiencies working in multiple operating systems.
Proficiencies working in Google Docs/Drive/GMail or MS Office equivalent.

Nice to have Qualifications:
Experience working with creative agencies on multi-channel, global creative campaigns.
Consumer Marketing and Mobile Gaming knowledge/experience is big a plus.
