Our agency client is looking for an energetic social media strategist for a contract to hire role. This position will be responsible for developing and overseeing the execution of strategic social media and digital initiatives including developing and managing viral marketing campaigns, creating and supervising high-profile channel accounts, and integrating interactive media into the overall business strategy. Other duties may include monitoring and analysis of social media trends and their impact on the company brand and supervision of an internal team. The right candidate will have a degree in communications, marketing or a related field, 5+ years of digital and social media experience as well as experience successfully developing, implementing and integrating campaigns with media planning and buying, design and public relations. MUST HAVE AGENCY EXPERIENCE TO QUALIFY Creating and implementing a social media strategy as well as the ability to integrate social strategy into a brand’s larger marketing program.
Strong social analytics capabilities. Ability to generate comprehensive reports including conclusions and strategy based on analytics and research findings.
Ability to collaborate with our paid media team to establish and manage paid social advertising campaigns.
Exhibits the ability to jump from the creative side of marketing to analytical side, able to demonstrate why their ideas are analytically sound.
Displays in-depth knowledge and understanding of Social Media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Yelp, LinkedIn, YouTube, Pinterest, etc.) and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios.
Excellent writing and language skills.
Experience in managing content development.
Is a Team player with the confidence to take the lead and guide other employees when necessary. (ie: content development, creation and editing of content, and online reputation management).
Ability to present to clients and senior management when necessary.
