Social Media Strategist

Our eCommerce client's Global Mass Advertising team is seeking a creative, goal-oriented, highly entrepreneurial, and proven social strategist to join their exciting and fast-paced team. They are looking for a Social Media Strategist who will create new and effective ways to extend their global mass media campaigns on social platforms. Are you passionate about delivering great content to drive meaningful and measurable business results? Can you engage customers across social networks by combining expert intuition, customer insights, and creative vision? Have you developed transformative social strategies and gained buy-in from senior leaders? If you answered yes to these questions, I'd like to talk to you for this role.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating innovative and compelling social media strategies that connects customers with their offerings and products. In addition, s/he will be a social media content expert within the company, working with product and creative teams to inform plans and roadmaps, and will identify, coordinate, and communicate best practices amongst teams.

Responsibilities

Develop social media plans with an emphasis on setting strategic goals, developing metrics and recommendations.
Develop and define paid social advertising plans, including metrics, implementation and refinement of content, copy and measurement.
Provide reporting and analysis of results, including strategic recommendations directly related to insights and objectives.
Drive a data driven approach and relentless focus on customer insights that lead to social media planning, optimizations and efficiency of media execution.
Create, publish and manage campaigns.
Contribute to expanding the Brand’s overall approach to social media.
Must have a strong visual eye to help guide design process and production of assets
Seek and evaluate new social media platforms and technology opportunities and provide guidance to clients and internal team on how to incorporate them.

Basic Qualifications:
5+ years of experience leading and executing social media and/or marketing strategies for a leading consumer brand or agency
Strong understanding of website metrics, data analysis, and reporting tools
Demonstrated capability to create copy, imagery, and video content for targeted audiences and to support stated goals. Please be prepared for a content portfolio review
Hands-on experience publishing to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc., and using social publishing and measurement tools
BA/BS degree
Must have the ability to take constructive criticism and maintain a professional attitude
Independently self-motivated, team player with excellent communication skills
Strategic and deeply consumer-minded approach to social media.

Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of statistics data aggregation and metrics
Experienced creative writer with an attention to detail; excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient with Excel, Tableau or other database software
Experienced with Photoshop and other creative software
Experience with Sprinklr
