Strong candidates will have the ability to develop and execute successful social media strategies and be able to build and strengthen relationships with other public health partners and and chapters.
Social media strategy, initially working with consulting contractors. Building and maintaining relationship with other groups, public health partners & chapters. Managing the organization's online profiles (Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram,). Creating topical shareable graphics and animated GIFs based on trending topics. Optimizing videos for YouTube/Facebook/etc (titles, thumbnails, descriptions, playlists, captions). Promoting videos to various Facebook groups / admins. Moderating comments and banning trolls. Repurposing existing videos for new formats (instagram/etc). Monitoring, reporting and optimizing monthly metrics from Social media platforms. Reports to the Director of Marketing and Communications.
