Social Media Specialist

Our top healthcare and hospice provider client is looking for a rock star social media manager to join their team. It is a short-term contract with the potential to go longer for the right candidate that can add value to the social media operations team. All work will be done remotely. Previous healthcare experience not necessary, but a bonus. :)

Primary Job Responsibilities:
• Help curate and create social media content to promote and share with the community
• Join in on dozens of conversations every day, providing help, insights, and encouragement
• Help develop strategies to increase engagement and interaction
• Measure, analyze, and report on community activity

Basic Requirements:
• 2+ years of professional experience with social media required.
• Solid understanding of the social media universe including but not limited to; Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and other platforms required
• Demonstrated communication effectiveness through social media channels
• Proven verbal and written communication skills, articulate communicator
• Highly organized and great attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a remote team environment

Project will be offsite for the Newport Beach location. Typical weekly avg: 15-20/hr could fluctuate depending on project needs. Client is open to more hours.
Pay: $30-$40/hr heavily dependent on salary history, experience, and unique skills you can bring to the social media efforts.
