  • Actively manage social media presence including, but not limited to, Facebook, YouTube, Four Square, Pinterest, for all
    Company brands. This includes review and edit of all monthly editorial calendars (wall posts, content, links, images, video, etc.) This is done in conjunction with Manager, Brand PR & Consumer Engagement and Manager, Digital Content
  • Review & edit monthly social media reports from agencies. Distribute to brand teams
  • Work with brand teams & agencies on various social media engagement initiatives and provide feedback to digital team
  • Monitor social-sphere conversations, You Tube Uploads, Flicker Uploads, on brand pages etc. and alert issues to appropriate personnel - Social Media Task Force.
  • Monitor Wikipedia for accuracy of entries.
  • Ad Hoc Social Media projects including integration of social channels on intranet and internal TV network
  • Compose annual blogger Conference annual calendar.
  • Continually /monitor Facebook and other Company Endorsed social media pages and outlets on a daily basis in collaboration with Consumer Relations, for the following: SPAM and inappropriate non-house rules compliant consumer postings and Consumer inquiries, private messages
  • Manage the C/ARB (approval board for consumer communications) process for approved social media and public relations requests as needed, including social media creative, rules, concepts, prizing, and press materials etc.
  • Fulfill PR & Consumer Engagement gift baskets and product needs for online influencers and celebrities,
  • Coordinate agency visits and internal/external meetings with digital/brand pr and brand teams
  • Support digital team with other social media initiatives as needed, including company participation in WOMMA, Social Media.org, BlogHer and others.

    Responsibilities:
  • 80% Reviews & edits social media monthly calendars & reports for all brand social channels, meets with brand teams to discuss current and relevant topical information, constant review/monitor of social media channels
  • 10% Prepares and presents all social media and brand PR submissions for CARB
  • 10% Support digital & brand PR team with other social media and brand PR initiatives as needed

    Requirements

  • Must have an in-depth knowledge and proficiency in social media, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, FourSquare, Tumblr, Reddit, etc.
  • Must have strong ability to determine level of risk of content and consumer response
  • Must have ability to respond to no risk consumer comments using proper internet acceptable grammar and language & brand tone
  • Must have a desire to continuously learn upcoming and future-leaning social media & digital trends, etiquette, practices and news
  • Must have flexibility to potentially work an alternative work schedule due to the nature of social and digital media
  • BA/BS-Degree in communications or similar field preferred. Prior public relations,digital and/or social agency highly preferred.
