Online insurance finder/provider company is searching for a Social Media Specialist to work on their blog and manage their social media outlets. This is a really exciting entry-level contract role that will last approximately 3-4 months with an outstanding, stable organization in the Plantation, FL area.

The ideal candidates will have experience managing large-scale contests, and has managed social campaigns that have been able to generate thousands of fans and followers.

Responsibilities Include:
• Daily management and development of editorial content on social media platforms: Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, Pinterest etc.
• Contribute to daily blog
• Proactively interact with online communities
• Use social media tools to monitor conversations and report on metrics
• Respond to customer service inquires/issues made online
• Help create and manage social media campaigns such as contests, sweepstakes and promotions
• Coordinate efforts with overall marketing calendar and with other business units
• Perform monthly competitor social media watch
• Measure the impact of social media on the overall marketing efforts

Required Skills:
• Bachelors degree (preferably in marketing or communications)
• 1+ years experience professionally managing social media accounts.
• Outstanding communication skills
• Outstanding writing skills
• Ability to keep up with developments in Internet technology and utilizing them in the social media marketing
