Awesome and exciting opportunity for a Social Media Specialist to work with one of Vitamin T's best clients. This is a contract role expected to last through the summer, possibly temp-to-hire for the right person.

JOB OVERVIEW

• Assist with social media messaging (Facebook, Twitter, Wordpress, etc.)
• Responsible for graphic design of event marketing materials
• Maintain growing database of participants in Salesforce
• Provide event and program support to management
• Maintain relationships and ongoing programming with the Live Detroit Fund
• Brainstorm new ideas and programming approaches
• Manage miscellaneous financial invoices/transactions
• May be responsible for working with vendors to order supplies and promotional items
• Complete various administrative tasks

REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Ability to handle multiple tasks in an efficient manner
• Ability to meet deadlines in a timely fashion and maintain a flexible schedule
• Must have great organization and prioritization skills
• Professional and personable interaction with leadership
• Fluent in various social networks as well as Microsoft Office 2010
• Must perform well under pressure and still come out with a smile on your face

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Knowledge of Salesforce is helpful
• Intermediate experience using Adobe Creative Suite 5
• Some prior experience in event planning
