Social Media Specialist

We are hunting for a rock star Social Media Specialist to help kick off, implement and complete a new marketing campaign with the goal of generating brand awareness and increasing recruitment.

• Work with senior leadership to increase their presence on social media 
• Identifying and work with employee advocates on social media to spread our brand story 
• Help produce original content, including working with the creative lead, to create provocative multimedia storytelling 

Required Skills  
3+ years of digital marketing experience, preferably for large clients 
Experience dealing with C-suite executives 
A portfolio demonstrating core competencies of content creation across channels, including idea campaign creation, copywriting and video 
Strong editing and proofreading skills 
Understanding of digital marketing performance key performance indicators across digital channels 

From kick-off to after party, you are a crafty, seasoned strategist that will see the campaign through. You’ll need to be creative, a combo of a self-starter and team player, and come with a strong but malleable point of view. 
Responsibilities 
• Partner with cross-functional teams to lead the strategic planning process and understand our business goals in context of our brand story and audiences 
• Get up to speed on product and service offerings and market stance, as well as competitors’, to generate insights 
• Brainstorm thought-provoking ideas to develop insights and perhaps off-the-wall ideas 
• Create an ambitious but achievable set of tactics 
• Manage the campaign’s timeline and stakeholders 
• Create and partner with content creators to produce kick-ass storytelling through video, copy and other multimedia 
• Drive the campaign across key digital and social channels 
• Work with all levels of employees, including c-suite executives 
• Report on the campaigns success 
• Champion the brand identity, tone and voice internally and externally 
• Follow established writing style guidelines, brand guidelines and the AP style guide 
Day to Day Responsibilities of this Position and Description of Project: 

Requirements 
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, PR, media or relevant discipline 
• 3+ years of digital marketing experience, preferably for large clients 
• Experience in Big Idea Generation: Creating impactful, new marketing concepts in response to industry trends and client objectives within a clearly defined brand 
• Ability to self-lead as well as work within a cross-functional team 
• Understanding of digital marketing performance key performance indicators across digital channels 
• Experience with relevant platforms, including LinkedIn’s Elevate platform preferred
• Experience dealing with C-suite executives 
• A portfolio demonstrating core competencies of content creation across channels, including copywriting and video 
• Strong editing and proofreading skills 
• An ironclad work ethic with a light-heartened mix of good humor and a positive attitude
