Social Media Project Manager

Client is seeking a social media project manager who will support and implement social media tactics that deliver against business goals. Key responsibilities include managing campaign, supervising social media channel accounts, integrating social into existing web properties, partnering on social search engine optimization/search engine marketing (SEO/SEM), monitoring and analysis of social media trends, and reporting on social analytics.
The ideal candidate

A passion for digital and social marketing, strong project management and communication skills, a bias toward collaboration, and demonstrable fluency in emerging technologies and social media trends.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management
o Develop and manage formal project work plans, timelines and budgets
o Handle day-to-day logistics between units to ensure routine projects move forward
o Continually track and document project status against timeline and provide project updates
o Coordinate project timelines with internal and external partners
o Coordinate and route work for review and approval
o Ensure deliverables meet request
o Take meeting notes and action items and provides them to group in timely manner
o Log, track and drive action items
o Provide relevant project direction to client, team, or functional partners
o Help gather additional input and assist in problem solving
o Take ownership of project issues and provide solutions
o Provide updates to key stakeholders

Strategy
Support the development and execution of our social media strategies in order to increase traffic to key marketing web properties, support SEO/SEM, word of mouth, leverage brand advocates, and represent the brand in social.

Collaboration
Collaborate with broader marketing teams to ensure that social media efforts integrate with other marketing/communications functions and that social media outreach effectively uses our digital media assets.

Reporting
Track and report key social media analytics/metrics on a regular basis. Partner with analytics team to define key performance indicators and implement reporting methods to gauge success.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

o Three + years of hands-on project management experience with ability to manage competing projects, priorities, and deadlines.
o Demonstrated hands-on experience in the practice of social media reputation management e.g Yelp, Angie’s List, Google +
o Deep understanding of the role of SEO in relation to Social Media
o Knowledge of existing and emerging social media channels, including Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Vine, etc.Proven ability to work with an agency
