Social Media Project Manager

Can you help us impact millions of customers through social media channels? This person will join the team at a tremendously exciting time, with the recent successful launch of latest broswer on our latest operating system.

Social media never sleeps and as a global social media brand we actively manage our presence across multiple platforms. The Social Media Project Manager will execute the Social Media plan including:

• Managing content workstream from agency proposals through to successful posting, assigning milestones and holding teams accountable
• Reviewing creative and content for on-target brand and messaging
• Maintaining social media editorial calendar to optimize deliverables/cadence and manage inbound requests
• Monitoring ad-spend on paid campaigns and adjusting to data trends in real time
• Serving as first line of response to Community Manager Reports and queries
• Triaging feedback reports and escalating issues as appropriate
• Packaging social media initiatives into repeatable executions for distribution to both internal and external partner stakeholders, domestic and global
• Serve as touch-point for global social initiatives

This team member will also provide social media support for team promotional events and campaigns that may lie outside the strategic plan as needed. May also be asked to support other team members as appropriate.

Successful candidates must possess:
-Strong attention to detail
-Ability to prioritize conflicting demands and tight deadlines
-Understanding of and familiarity with standard social media channels
-Ability to manage multiple work-streams simultaneously
-Superlative communication and interpersonal skills
-Strong grasp of the English language
-Familiarity with Excel and data analysis
-Passion for engaging customers through social media

Candidate must be proactive and drive for results.

The ideal candidate may also possess:

-Familiarity with Photoshop or other professional image editing programs
-Experience working across teams within and without a company
-Strong grasp of social media processes, tools, and vernacular
-1-2 years’ experience in a digital marketing environment
-Track record of success in building new processes

This position may require some evening or weekend hours, according to campaign needs.
