Aquent's Fortune 500 retail client is looking for a Social Media Production Artist to work a 6 month contract on-location in Richfield, MN in the Marketing department.

The Social Media Production Artist will assist the social media creative team in the development and refinement of work for Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram and Snapchat. He/she will partner with both designers and writers in the shaping the creative while maintaining brand’s current visual identity. They will be asked to have a close attention to detail, follow existing style guides, work efficiently and generate production quality files.

Candidates ust be comfortable working in an open work environment. Candidate will have own space but likely will be in closer quarters with other workers.

Responsibilities:

1) Work with designers and writers in the visual refinement of social media creative. This will include Tweets, Facebook posts and Pins.
2) Generate interesting designs based on existing style guides or in partnership with other creatives.
3) Build polished presentation decks.
4) Create GIFs in Photoshop or After Effects
5) Adhere to tight timelines while juggling multiple projects.
6) Attend kickoffs and creative reviews.

What would a normal day for this position look like??
• Meeting with the social team to review priorities and to clarify any changes to the previous priorities
• Evaluating work
• Creating social content or the decks based on priorities
• Collaborating with the design team on questions or concerns
• Also will collaborate with the digital asset management team to ensure we have the assets that are needed for the designers and to prep them for what they need.
• Gaining approval for work completed

Skills Overview:
• Online portfolio required
• Ability to produce creative to specification
• Expert skills in the Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign and Photoshop (After Effects is a plus)
• Must have mid to senior level experience in creative production
• Ability to prioritize competing projects
• Self-directed and self-motivated
• Comfortable asking questions when needed
• Able to drive creative to completion
• Ability to accept feedback and use it positively to influence the work
• Accepts work direction when needed

Tech Requirements:
• Expert skills in the Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign and Photoshop (After Effects is a plus)
• Expert skills in PowerPoint
• Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word)
• Must be comfortable working on a Mac
