Social Media Mgr.

Work with manager to create compelling social media strategies and a voice for engaging with key industry influencers, bloggers, media and analysts.

Will understand and track key technology trends and dynamics that influence businesses so that they can create savvy, meaningful social conversations.

The social media manager does the following:
• Does the daily posts to Twitter and Facebook; manages all content development for this (although any design work is done by others with the social media manager providing direction)
• Manages the editorial calendar and content development for the blog
• Develops plans for how to take the social media program to the next level; implements on those plans
• Tracks results and reports on them

Manage the day-to-day content creation and interactions for all social media assets.
Report quarterly on results of the social media program.
Develop new ideas and work with corporate social media team to implement programs/elements to build awareness of leading connectivity solutions.
Collaborate with customers to drive joint social media efforts and report on the results.
Develop the yearly social media strategy and manage agency personnel to implement.

Skills/Experience:
Approximately 10 years relevant work experience and a background in editorial, online media or content
Possess skill to develop creative ideas for furthering the social media voice to generate awareness and drive thought leadership
Highly skilled writer
Exceptional organization skills
Experience managing editorial calendars
Understanding of technology and Silicon Valley: what are the technology drivers?
Ability to collaborate with a diverse team of technical and creative individuals to achieve top-tier outcomes

Education:
BA in Communications or Journalism
