Social Media Marketing Strategist

Our healthcare client has an immediate need for an exceptional marketing professional with strong social media savvy to join their Social Media Marketing Team at their San Francisco corporate headquarters. You will be the authority on social media paid advertising and best practices to help integrate social media across the enterprise.

You will work closely with internal line of business partners (e.g.: Individual & Family, Small Group, and Large Group), you will develop and execute innovative social paid marketing campaigns across social media channels. Campaigns are highly targeted and address specific business objectives including growing and retaining our member base as well as our social community size.

In addition to campaign strategy and execution, you will drive, track, and report out on campaign performance and identify actionable insights for piloting and optimizing social media programs.

You are a metrics-driven marketer who keenly understands the intrinsic value of social media and can help build the social media program and drive results to prove ROI. Above all, you know how to roll up your sleeves to create innovative, engaging, and best-in-class social media campaigns.

You thrive within a continuously changing, highly matrixed marketing environment. You are an excellent communicator with proven success leveraging channels like Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest to build measurable marketing, leveraging paid ads, contests, polls, SEO, media buys, targeting and other tactics to propel the business.

Responsibilities:
• Drives marketing activities across social channels
• Collaborates closely with Marketing Leads to develop comprehensive social programs to support key marketing initiatives including Open Enrollment.
• Program manages multiple lines of business campaigns, synthesizes processes and ties back to the overall business goals
• Identifies and pilots opportunities to test and learn
• Reports out on performance of key social marketing programs with a focus on ROI.
• Supports our goal of increasing positive sentiment across social
• Partners with cross functional teams including Social Media Community Moderator, Content Specialist, PR, and Customer Support to ensure consistency of messaging, strategy, and tone
• Provides actionable insights to improve existing social media marketing performance and develop new programs
• Stays abreast of competitor’s online and social activity to identify opportunities and best practices and to help our client track and compare efforts
• Identifies and bubbles up key opportunities and new ideas to better engage with thier audiences across channels to achieve business goals
