Job Summary:
The Social Media Marketing Specialist is responsible for planning, production and development of our clients social media properties, with the goal fostering thriving communities of consumers and trade members around our brands, and managing the conversion of those communities into buyers and evangelists.

  • This position requires an enthusiastic marketer who is passionate about using social media to drive positive change and impact to the business.
  • The right individual will be passionate and currently engaged deeply in social media, with a keen desire to learn and break new ground.
  • A blend of strong creative and analytical skills is a must
  • Must be able to work collaboratively with Brand Marketing, Creative Services and Events Planning teams.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategy: Recommend a social media strategy aligned with business and marketing objectives
  • Content: Create and curate content to drive engagement and generate lead across social medial channels for our key brands such as KRIS, Root: 1, etc.
  • Maintenance: Work with webhost to maintain company-wide content management system (CMS).
  • Reporting: Establish, track and report relevant metrics for digital and social marketing
  • Innovation: Stay ahead of the curve on digital technologies and design practices

  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in marketing, digital media/communications, or related field
  • Minimum two year’s work experience in social media with either an agency or in-house for a business
  • Fluency with the back-end tools to manage content (organic and paid) for Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and other social media channels
  • Experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, or other platforms used to create basic graphic content

  • Professional Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent consultative and interpersonal/communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, set day-to-day goals and meet commitments
  • Proficient organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple, overlapping, and potentially conflicting priorities
  • Detail-oriented
  • Cross-functional collaboration skills
