Social Media Marketing Manager

Successfully manage and execute marketing tactics with a primary focus on social media goals.

• Develop and implement quantifiable social strategies to increase followers, message reach, and post engagement across the Foundation’s social media properties
• Execute digital marketing tactics for key campaigns that maximize constituent participation, engagement, and fundraising in the Foundation’s social media spaces
• Support and enhance other marketing initiatives such as paid advertising, email, offline, and web traffic in social media
• Provide regular reports detailing campaign performance, social growth, reach, and engagement that include optimization and improvement strategies
• Coordinate the dissemination of marketing messages and Foundation social priorities to field offices
• Provide training and support to field offices
• Manage, track, and prioritize social media requests and contractual obligations from internal stakeholders
• Assist in non-digital marketing efforts such as brand research, ad placement, and PSA reporting
• 3-5 years of relevant experience
• Four year college degree, concentration in business or marketing preferred
• Thorough understanding of social platforms, trends, and SMMS capabilities and function
• Excellent written and verbal skills, including the ability to speak in public
• Must be able to work very independently and meet deadlines.
• Ability to think creatively and the desire to problem solve
• MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Web analytics (Omniture, Google Analytics)
• Understand the basics of paid search and display advertising
• Project management experience preferred
• Experience managing national social media campaigns a plus
• Adobe Photoshop, Dreamweaver, & Flash experience preferred along with HTML and CSS programming
