Social Media Marketing Communications Manager

Our client seeks a Social Media Marketing Communications Manager who will help define and implement social media campaigns, online programs and sponsorship content for a premier product. He/she will execute and deliver integrated communications programs, manage external agency partners and other outside vendors, set objectives and track results to determine the effectiveness of all programs. Must be able to provide strategic thinking and strong leadership to internal marketing partners and external agencies as well as develop and maintain positive relationships across a variety of internal and external divisions and entities.
The right candidate for this role should also have experience managing traditional advertising to include Radio and TV production. Strong budget management and analytical skills and ability to successfully work in a matrixed and hyper-changing environment.
Candidate must be a team player, flexible and have excellent presentation & speaking skills.

Responsibilities of this role include:
• Leading the development and implementation of successful integrated communications programs for the products/services assigned.
• Providing strategic thinking/leadership, anticipate the market.
• Providing strong leadership to internal marketing partners and external agencies.
• Meeting critical deadlines.
• Developing strong relationships across Verizon divisions and entities.
• The ability to work in a somewhat ambiguous environment
• Creating order and process in complex situations

Key Job Functions:
• Administer and coordinate complex and cross functional social media campaigns that tie into larger marketing communications efforts.
• Manage creative process and approvals across senior management, Marketing, Branding, Legal, Intellectual Property, etc.
• Develop and deliver presentations to senior leadership.
• Follow QC process and ensure 100% accuracy in all endeavors.
• Provide strategic thinking and direction to partner organizations.
• Assist in developing cohesive marketing communications strategic and tactical plans
• Participate in pertinent strategy, product and status calls
• Manage budgets and expenses including monthly forecast of expenses, estimate and invoice approvals.
• Work with internal Accounting team and the Agency to reconcile campaign expenses and estimates
• Analyze results and develop recommendations for future programs
• Create and update Program Performance documents
