Social Media Marketing Analyst

We are looking for a marketing research specialist with a focus on social media analytics to join our client's dynamic team. This person will be responsible for designing research studies, interpreting data, formulating reports/presentations, making recommendations based upon the research findings and handling some client service.

This Analyst must be proficient at listening in order to become a trusted monitoring advisor able to give vital and timely information. Individual must thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment and be excited by the chance to play a larger role in social media. Individual must possess the ability to be innovative with their role as an Analyst. Must have a strong understanding of how social media impact businesses.

We are not accepting relocations at this time, and only local candidates need apply.

Key Goals of Position:
· Responsibilities involve successful use of marketing research tools and Excel for data analysis and verification
· Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task when working towards deadlines
· Develop questionnaires, sample plans, data processing specifications, and report/presentation templates
· Apply knowledge of survey design and execution such as sampling, questionnaire development, scales, interviewing methods, etc.
· Verify the accuracy of study data and editorial content
· Prepare custom/adhoc analyses as required to meet study objectives and/or client needs
· Create charts and graphs to populate reports and presentations
Interpret data, prepare recommendations, and author reports/presentations

Additional Candidate Requirements:
· Must have AT LEAST 1 year experience in marketing research.
· Advanced SPSS and Excel proficiency
· Must possess superior attention to detail and ability to multi-task when working towards deadlines
· Variety of related market research experience strongly preferred, but specialists in the areas of research design, project management, field operations, data collection and report writing will also be considered.
· Data processing experience preferred
· Solid analytical skills required
· Strong communication skills to develop internal and client relationships
· Knowledge of sampling and research design
· Strong quantitative skills
· Superior attention to detail
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
