The Social Media Manager will implement and manage the company’s social media initiatives, daily postings, and develop unique content in order to drive awareness, traffic, and engagement.
The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated passion for fashion, beauty, pop culture, and the modeling industry, combined with a keen understanding of the digital space, including skills for developing creative partnerships and content to engage our audience in an authentic way, through relevant social media content.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following:
-Write production of daily social content across all social media channels including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, Pinterest, Tumblr, Blogs, etc…
-Create and curate compelling, on-brand video and photography content that captures new followers and engages existing audiences.
-Assess and report on the effectiveness of social media efforts by tracking, analyzing, and presenting quantifiable data.
-Stay up-to-date on the latest social trends, best practices, and platform updates.
-Serve as copyeditor for all department needs.
-Strong understanding of popular social networks (Snapchat, Instagram, Periscope, Facebook, etc..)
-Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills. You should be able to quickly craft short, compelling copy in an authentic voice that resonates with our target audience, driving engagement and link sharing.
-Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task, and work under shifting deadlines in a fast paced and changing environment.
-Strong understanding in the areas of SEO and web analytics.
-Must have a working knowledge of common interactive tools including Hootsuite, Google Analytics, and Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and/or InDesign.
-Candidate must be a team player.
-Minimum Education: Bachelor/Masters’ degree
