Our client, a top Financial and Insurance company in NYC is looking for a talented, energetic and sharp Social Media Manager to join their growing team.

This role is onsite in NYC for a 9 months duration with an opportunity for temp to perm. They are looking for someone to join their team that has a strong command of Social media ecosystem as well as experience managing social channels for F500 company (financial a plus, but not required.) They must have strong project management skills to implement social strategies across product platforms, and international markets (EMEA, LatAm). We are looking for someone who is driven, passionate and an expert in the social media world!

The Social Media Community Manager will help to implement our social media strategy and manage day-to-day responsibilities for our client social communities. The ideal candidate should be a highly motivated individual with experience and a passion for social media and digital marketing.

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Partner with marketing teams to support social media content marketing strategy and editorial calendar development.
• Own and proactively manage editorial calendars.
• Manage daily posting on branded social media channels: ensuring a consistent voice is maintained across channels & is aligned with branding and target audience segments.
• Manage and grow communities on all social platforms driving passionate engagement with brand loyalists.
• Spark discussion and monitor conversations across social media and address important mentions in real-time through engagement, escalation, or documentation.
• Create social media reports and aggregate data into actionable insights to inform marketing.
• Research and analyze industry trends and competitive benchmarking
• Support Customer Care team with monitoring and responding to customer complaints
• Develop presentations and reports for senior and c-level management

Requires a bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
